Learning to identify feelings, regulate them, and process sensory input is an important skill for people to develop. It can be especially difficult for those with sensory processing difficulties, ADHD, anger issues, on the autism spectrum, or anyone feeling overwhelmed in a moment of tough emotions. This kit is filled with tools, toys, and activities specifically chosen to help calm emotions, regulate thinking processes, and relax physically.
This calm kit is great for time outs, calming down, taking a break, or boredom buster. Add this kit to your sensory space or calm down corner to help children (or adults) learn to regulate their feelings and break out of inappropriate patterns of behavior. Great for classroom use! Keep a kit in the car for emergency situations or unexpected delays in traffic or at appointments.
A set of our Calm Cards is included. This set of 14 cards includes over 30 activities and ideas to help with self-regulation. Many activities correspond to the kit contents and include deep breathing exercises, grounding activities, stress relief, movement, and more.
